The Willow Creek Community Resource Day (CRD) Team

The Community Resource Day (CRD) exists as a collaboration of both government and nongovernment agencies, churches, faith-based organizations and nonprofit organizations who have the common vision of walking alongside our neighbors in need in McHenry County who are facing homelessness, personal crisis, situational trauma and lack of resources. Each agency/organization utilizes their specific resources and abilities to help meet the needs of our guests with dignity and compassion. Each of us realize that on our own, we can only do so much, but together, we are able to make a tangible difference in helping our guests move from under-resourced to having what they need, from feeling powerless to being empowered and from hopeless to hopeful! 30+ agencies/organizations contribute to the mission of CRD.

The CRD team includes (pictured from L to R): Julie Davis, Associate Campus Pastor of Willow Crystal Lake, Megan Bennett, formerly of McHenry County Housing Authority, Deb Anderson, CRD Agency and Volunteer Coordinator, and Gina Zinck, Coordinated Entry Lead for McHenry County.
